Stastical Distribution of current helicity observed the Solar Flare Telescope
M. Hagino

It has been recognized that the latitude distribution of current helicity shows a sign rule; namely, the solar active regions in the northern (southern) hemisphere tend to show a negative (positive) helicity, respectively. We have analyzed current helicity of solar active regions using a huge database observed by the vector magnetograph of Solar Flare Telescope(SFT) of NAOJ. 178,906 magnetograms (2,249 daily magnetograms) were obtained from the SFT during 1992-2006. In this paper, we will report the statistical distributions of current helicity whether its distribution follows Gaussian distribution or not. And possibilities of relationship between current helicity and solar dynamo will be discussed.
