CAWSES Solar Optical Data On-Line
CAWSES (Climate and Weather of the Sun-Earth System) is an international program being organized by SCOSTEP for the period of 2004-2008. The research targets of CAWSES are both sudden explosive events like solar flares (namely the space weather) and longer timescale changes of the space environment (namely the space climate). Our observatory has made available the following newly-obtained data in the framework of CAEWSWS program. In addition, we are carrying out digitization of old films and photographic plates, in order to investigate the long-term variations of the sun.
The following database has been built with financial supports from the Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, FY2005-2006, Project Leader: T.Ogino, STELAB, Nagoya University), and from the database cooperative program, STELAB, Nagoya University, FY2004-2006).
