CLASP2 Reflight: CLASP2.1

Sounding rocket experiment CLASP2.1 is the relflight plan of CLASP2.

In CLASP2.1, we aim at pursuing the capability of the Mg II h & k lines to acquire the 2D map of chromospheric magnetic fields by performing a slit scan with the CLASP2 instrument.

The CLASP2.1 was sucessfully launched in 2021 October at White Sands Missile Range. The polarization spectra over the Mg II h & k lines were obtained at 16 slit locations over the active region. Now we are working on the analysis of the CLASP 2.1 data.
