Airglow Archive Data

Zenith intensities of airglow measured at various observatories in Japan are provided by years and wavelengths. The observing wavelengths are 5577 Å and 6300 Å lines of oxygen, sodium D-line (5890-96 Å), reference continua such as 5200-5300 Å, and OH molecular bands. The data from Kiso are digital while the others are PDF files made by scanning the printed publications. Digital data (not only from Japan but from all over the world) in the period of International Geophysical Year (IGY, 1957-58), International Geophysical Cooperation (IGC, 1959), and International Quiet Sun Year (IQSY, 1964-65) are available at NOAA/NGDC.
Kiso
The following data were obtained at Kiso Station (Tokyo Astronomical Observatory, The University of Tokyo, till 1988; Institute of Astronomy, The University of Tokyo, after 1988). The observations and data reduction were carried out by the Photometry Division, Tokyo Astronomical Observatory (1979-1988), the Optical and Infrared Astronomy Division, National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (1988-1990), and the Department of Physics, Niigata University (1991-1994).
