Wolf. A sunspot relatibe number R is derived from; R = k(10g + f), where, g is a number of sunspot groups, f is a number of indivisual sunspots and k is the correction factor. (#2) 13-months running mean of sunspot relative number: 13-months running mean in the nth month Rs(n) is calculated as; Rs(n) = [(0.5(Rn-6)) + R(n-5) + ... + R(n-1) + R(n) + R(n+1) + ... + R(n+5) + (0.5(n+6))]/12, where, R(n) is a monthly mean in the nth month and R(n-6), ... , R(n-1), R(n+1), ... , R(n+6) are monthly mean values for the six months before and after that month. -----------------------------------------------------------------
